Requirements for printing data

Requirements for printing data:

-         PDF file in PDF 1.3 version (Acrobat 4 compatibility)
-         Generally, the production of Postscript is recommended; then, create a PDF file using Acrobat Distiller. In addition, the application export can be used, but the correct output setting must be checked.
-         All printing PDF elements must have data in CMYK, in grey scale or colour separation, or defined by direct Pantone colours.
-                      No element may be defined in RGB or LAB space and must not contain ICC profiles. (When RIP processing is used, the ICC profiles are ignored.)
-                      Pantone colours must be clearly and uniformly defined in the document. If possible, identification using an industrially accepted system of direct colours, such as PANTONE colours, is preferred. No diacritical marks may be used for different identification.
-         Direct colours must have the overprint defined correctly.
-         All fonts must be inserted in the document or in curves.
-         Each page must contain bleed if drawing interfering with the trim is included in the graphic.
-         The bleed printing must be at least 3 mm. Indentation of the trimming marks must be at least 6 pixels.
-         The pages must be centred, legible, positive, individually set to portrait, not in the format of spreads, in ascending order, and the files must be named congruently with page numbers in the document (001_016.pdf).
-                      Resolution of images should be 300 dpi, line blocks, texts, marks, logos, drawn graphic should be defined by vectors with 1200 dpi.
-                      For V2 binding, graphic indentation on the back cover must be taken into account not to interfere with the trimmer and to use glue (3-5 mm). This also applies to the first and last page of the book block.
-                      To speed up the approval of the printing documents, KASICO abandoned production and approval of classic plotters (ozalids).
-                      Upon mutual agreement, KASICO will create a folder on its FTP server and inform the customer about access information. This folder will be used for the uploading of printing documents by the customer. At the same, the folder will be used for the downloading of documents processed by the printing works for inspection. These preview documents will be used by the customer particularly for the inspection of the extent, contents of the work before printing.
The communication between the parties is easy.
-         The customer will upload its printing documents to FTP server and inform KASICA’S sales representative who is responsible for processing job.
-         The sales representative informs the CTP office of KASICA about the uploading of the printing documents by the customer.

-                            Following the processing of the printing documents by the CTP office, the KASICO staff will prepare preview PDF files for the customer.
-                            The sales representative will inform the customer about the preview PDF files ready for inspection.
-                            After the review of the documents for the job, the customer will fill in the relevant line in the protocol. See appendix No. 1
